The Herb Files

Hey - Herb here. Everyone is asleep so I thought I would take the opportunity to add myself to the blog. As you can see I am very cute and i have been having a pretty good time in my first week at Pioneer House. I like Tui most of the time especially when she plays with me and throws little bits of food off her high chair for me. It's also quite fun to run up Nicki's back when she is changing Tui's nappy - why she bothers with that when there is a perfectly good dirt box there is beyond me. Otherwise I spend my day racing around the house and attacking the furniture. I learnt how to use the computer by walking over the keyboard when Nicki was trying to do her work - what a powerful tool! Better go now before I am sprung - will keep the updates coming...

And then there were three...

Here i am playing with our new cat Herb (Herbie) - he is very manic, zooming around all over the place playing and he tends to pick up speed when i approach as i am not averse to giving him a little kick or a shove when i come across him. I also think he is pretty funny though and laugh at him when he is bounding around the sofa or hanging off the curtains or chasing the string i drag around for him. I have only managed to get my hands on him once and mum had to prize him out of my vice-like grip as i didn't want to let him go! I have tried his jellymeat which was okay but am not that interested in the dirt box at this stage - will wait till mum is safely out of the room for a while to have a go at that one i think.
